Susan Frye

Susan is a PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto in the Faculty of Forestry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons.) with a specialization in urban studies from York University. Following this, she gained a Masters of Forestry Conservation (MFC) from the University of Toronto. Susan has practiced in the field with experimental design and set-up, data collection, as well as laboratory experiments with native pollinators. Her current work focuses on the natural history and biology of native bees in temperate forest landscapes. Susan has also participated in several outreach workshops on native pollinators including a community outreach program at the High Park Nature Centre with the “Native Bee Monitoring Club”.
